Although he is very good in content marketing. But, I wanted to give you an example of someone to whom we Indians can relate to better.
Maybe you guessed it. Yes, I am talking about Pratik Singh Chaurasia aka Digital Pratik – One of the finest example of Content Marketing experts.
Content is king. It builds trust, authority and hence eventually a personal brand. But Digital Pratik understands this very well and we can see the amount of FREE content he is putting up on all the social media channels.
Well, there are many other good example of content marketing experts in India. The main reason I selected Digital Pratik is that he focuses on all the possible social media and marketing channels. Others focus on going only on a few specific channels.
So, let’s get right into it
Why is content marketing so important to Digital Pratik?
100 pieces of content is what Digital Pratik puts out every single day.
All the channels combined.
There must be a reason to do so. The answer is Content Marketing Strategy.
Content Marketing Strategy is nothing but building content for the funnel for which he is nurturing. There is funnel in place. Specific pieces of content are being made by him for the top of the funnel (TOFU) , middle of the funnel (MOFU) and bottom of the funnel (BOFU) audiences.
So, at the BOFU, he is having his products and services like consulting calls and speaking assignments. Maybe there are a few other products too. At the end of the day, content marketing is done to drive people from TOFU to BOFU so that the business gets more sales for their products and services.
So, what did you learn from this? First, create a product/service. It can be anything like an ebook or a simple mug or something to a complete full-fledged product like consulting, or an online course or mentorship, etc.
Then, create content for the different stages of the funnel and drive traffic and eventually conversions. What type of content to create? I would cover this in a different article.
How does he do it ?
I had seen one of his videos in which he said that he creates a few huge pieces of content whenever he has the opportunity. Suppose, he is going to give a speech on a particular topic.
Then he would record that whole speech and then fragment it into smaller pieces of content across all his social media handles.
He has maintained folders, month-wise where he stores all the big pieces of content. Now he can sit and pull out all the valuable short pieces of content from there and then distribute.
Document don’t create and Learn apply and share is his mantra. Notice, he didn’t say learn MASTER, apply, and share. The key is to just share it if you have applied for it.
Similarly what you can do is maybe, write a long blog post. Then, all you have to do is repurpose that post into a video, images, infographics, podcasts, etc.
Repurposing your main pieces of content is the key here.
It does not matter if your main piece of content is text, video, or audio.
So wasn’t this a good example of content marketing in India?

One of India’s top digital marketers. Digital Deepak’s main content platform is Email marketing, blogging, and Webinars.
People become aware of him through his free webinars and social media presence. When a person moves into his MOFU, he nurtures them through his email marketing content and then finally for his BOFU, he gives away free Ebooks, Demos of his SAAS products which then leads us to buy his products and services like digital marketing courses and consulting.
